Registering your Amenity

Received your QR code? Here are the next steps.

You've received your QR code in the mail. Now it's time to register your amenity by setting pricing and assigning your lock to the amenity.

Sign in to the Mount platform and click "view your amenities" on the main dashboard.

On the amenity list, choose the item you are ready to register. This will allow you to pair a QR code with a specific amenity.

Your first task is to set pricing for your amenity. For a purchasable amenity, you will set a per item price. For a rentable amenity, you will have the option to set hourly, daily, or weekly pricing. The 20% revenue share with Mount will be automatically added, allowing you to see the price that your guest will see when they scan the QR code to view the amenity. See both examples below.

When you are finished setting your pricing, click "Continue" to add photos of your amenity.

The final step is to link the QR code label you received with the amenity, following these steps:

  1. On the Mount QR code label, find the seven digit code below the QR code image. Enter that number in the space provided.

  2. Enter the lock code that will be associated with this amenity.

  3. Decide if the amenity will be private or public. Private amenities can only be found and rented by your guests, and details will only be available when they scan the QR code. Public amenities can be discovered by anyone.

NOTE: Public amenities will be displayed on the app at their "parking spot," which is the location address that you associated with an amenity.

IMPORTANT: The lock code is associated with the QR code. You may choose to add additional labels to make sure that the QR code always stays with the correct amenity.
